The Film-Style Digital Camera

The ARRIFLEX D-21 is the first film-style digital camera that coalesces the ARRI brand's high-end functionality, and handling with the ingenious options and economy of digital acquisition. The camera features an ecumenical/rotating mirror shutter, eliminating any rolling shutter artifacts and an effulgent optical viewfinder with a high contrast image and zero delay, which works without power and shows an image that elongates the captured frame, just like on a 35mm camera.

With its Super 35-sized 4:3 sensor, the D-21 accommodates all image aspect ratios, including anamorphic 2.40:1, and exhibits the same depth of field as 35 mm film.
